Rules

  ● MunMazhalai / Mazhalai / Nilai-1: Telling the words (in Tamil) from the picture (90 Secs / 90 Secs / 90 Secs)  

● Nilai 2: Words translation from English to Tamil (90 Secs)  

● Nilai 3: Words translation from English to Tamil. (90 Secs) 

● Nilai 4: Simple sentence translation to Tamil (3 Mins)  

● Nilai 5: Read given Tamil sentence (2mins) and translate and write given English sentence into Tamil (5 mins)  

● Nilai 6: Read and Write the Sentences in Tamil. Sentences will be given in English (6 Mins).  

● Nilai 7: Read and Write Sentences in Tamil. Sentences will be in English. Around 5 sentences per question (7mins)

Rules

● MunMazhalai- 6 Aathichudi (max 2 mins)  

● Mazhalai- 20 Aathichudi (5 Mins)  

● Nilai 1- 30 Aathichudi (3 Mins)  

● Nilai 2- 15 Kural's (5 Mins) (Under tie situation Kural meaning recital)  

● Nilai 3- 25 Kural's (8 Mins) (Under tie situation Kural meaning recital)  

● Nilai 4- 30 Kural's (8 Mins) (Under tie situation judges take decision either on meaning for few Kural's, pronunciation and other criteria's, if any)  

● Nilai 5- 45 Kural with meaning (15 Mins) (Under tie situation judges will say the word from Kural and students have to say the meaning; judges might say a word and students have to recite the full Kural with meaning.)

● Nilai 6- 50 Kural's 15 Mins with meaning (Under tie situation judges will say the word from Kural and students have to say the meaning; judges might say a word and students have to recite the full Kural with meaning.)  

● Nilai 7- 65 Kural's. Judges will ask either the starting/ending/middle word from Kural and within 30 seconds kids have to start reciting the Kural and its meaning.  (Under tie situation judges will say a word from kural translated in English and  students have to say the complete kural and explain the meaning 

Rules

❖ MunMazahalai : Free style  

❖ Mazhalai: Freestyle. Need to talk for 30 sec (minimum)- 90 sec (maximum)  

❖ Nilai 1- Freestyle. Need to talk for 1 min (minimum)- 3 mins(maximum)  

❖ Nilai 2- Freestyle Need to talk for 3 mins (minimum)- 5 mins (maximum)  

❖ Nilai 3: Maaruveda Potti (Free style mono acting). Kids have to talk for a minimum of 3 mins (minimum)- 5 mins (maximum)

     ➢ Topics  

          ■ கற்றல் நன்று  

          ■ நம் வாழ்வில் உடற்பயற்சி  

          ■ மூதுரை பாடலை வாழ்வியலோடு ஒப்பிடிக்க 

❖ Nilai 5:  

     ➢ Time Duration: 3 mins (minimum)- 5 mins (maximum)  

     ➢ Topics  

          ■ திருக்குறள் கூரும் வாழ்வியல்

          ■ தமிழர் பண்டிகை  

     ➢ From the above two topics, judge will ask either one topic and students have to speak about it for the time allocated  

Rules

❖ Nilai 6: Katturai Potti topic will be provided on the spot.It can be from textbook

 or general topics that we discussed in our class or in school.

     ➢ Time Duration: 1 hour total. (15 minutes for preparing and 45 minutes

          for writing).

      ➢ Katturai should have at least 30 sentences and no English words like

           cup: —(கப்) it should be கோப்பை.

 ❖ Nilai 7: Katturai Potti topic will be provided on the spot. Topics can be from

 textbook or general topic that students would know and be familiar with.

      ➢ TimeDuration: 1 hour total. (15 mins will be allocated for

           thinking/preparing for the topic and 45 mins maximum for writing.)

      ➢ Katturai should have at least 40 sentences minimum
